Terms of Use for the Gmail Add-on „E-Invoice Preview“
1. Scope and Provider
These Terms of Use govern the use of the Google Workspace / Gmail Add-on „E-Invoice Preview“. Provider details can be found in the About page.
2. Description of Services
The add-on enables the local display and structured presentation of electronic invoices directly within the user interface of Gmail.
The processing of invoice files is performed entirely client-side within your Google Workspace or Gmail environment. No data is transmitted to the provider's servers.
3. Requirements for Use
Use of the add-on requires a compatible Google or Google Workspace account. The user is solely responsible for ensuring the technical prerequisites for accessing Gmail and installing add-ons from the Google Workspace Marketplace.
4. No Tax, Accounting, or Legal Advice
Invoice data and verification notes displayed by the add-on are for informational purposes only.
The add-on constitutes no tax advice, legal advice, or auditing service. Responsibility for proper accounting, tax recognition of receipts, and compliance with statutory retention and reporting requirements rests entirely with the user.
5. Availability and Modifications
The add-on is provided in its current version. The provider strives for continuous availability and currency within the technical capabilities of the Google Workspace platform.
There is no entitlement to permanent, uninterrupted availability or specific features. The provider reserves the right to develop, adjust, or discontinue the service taking legitimate interests into account.
6. Warranty and Liability
The add-on is provided free of charge. The provider is liable without limitation for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health, as well as for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
In all other respects, liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. In particular, no liability is assumed for misinterpretations of invoice fields, incorrect third-party invoice source data, or outages of Google's infrastructure.
7. Termination and Uninstallation
The user may terminate the usage relationship at any time without notice by uninstalling the add-on in the Google Workspace Marketplace or revoking permissions in their Google account.
8. Governing Law and Final Provisions
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If individual provisions of these Terms of Use are or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
